Building a Strong Relationship with Nature While Growing Up
As I share the story of my upbringing in the northern part of Norway, I think of my father, a master woodworker whose craftsmanship brought us closer to nature. Growing up surrounded by the majestic landscapes of fjords and forests, my childhood was filled with adventures that fostered a deep appreciation for the natural world. Every weekend, my dad and I would spend hours in his workshop, the scent of freshly cut wood filling the air as we transformed raw materials into beautiful creations. This bond not only strengthened our relationship but also instilled in me a profound respect for the environment and the artistry of woodworking. Today, I carry with me the values of craftsmanship and connection to nature that my father taught me, embodying the spirit of dedication and sustainability in our work.
